Ever Feel Like Just Climbing The Wall!!!!!!!!

Apparently others do as well! :-)

Stephen and Pasha came for their annual March visit and we chose indoor rock wall climbing as our new activity to try.

If you haven't ever been indoor rock wall climbing..... GO!!!!!!!!

It doesn't look like so much until you can really see the angle these guy's were trying to climb! (see below!)

Notice the larger orange piece to the left above Nathan... he made it up this wall up to that point by the time the day was done! I was very impressed :-)

They were amazing!

Once you get past the bit of fear at the beginning it is SO much fun!!!!

Notice I went for the straight up wall not the 'curved out over my head'!!!

Our friends Brian and Jen were also able to join us and it was so great to have some experienced climbers with us for our first outing with climbing. Thank you Brian and Jen!!!

Stephen and Pasha arrived late Friday night and we had them up and going early on Saturday to hit Table Rock for a morning hike. Then followed by and afternoon of rock wall climbing - we are so excited to get to go do that again someday! It was challenging yet fun at the same time. And an evening finished off with dinner at Highlands Hollow - YUM!

Sunday was a relaxing morning and an afternoon and early evening of a trip to Kirkham Hot Springs (don't worry Brian we all still have our hair :-).

A relaxing time of playing in the sand... can you tell Uncle Stephen is a construction engineer??? Look at that sandcastle!!! He was doing great until Colin tried to get him to use sticks as power poles to bring electricity in :-)

Followed by a delicious dinner Stephen and Pasha made for us of beef tenderloin, mashed potatoes and asparagus with homemade chocolate cake!!!! DELICIOUS!!!!

After a perfect weekend with the weather.....Monday the weather turned on us so we decided to go hang out at Cabela's :-) a perfect rainy day activity for all ages :-)

We then had to take Stephen and Pasha to the airport no matter how hard we tried to convince them that it was okay to just miss their flight :-)

Thank you Stephen and Pasha for taking the time to come out and see us! For the delicious dinner you made for us Sunday night! and for allowing us to join in on Stephen's birthday weekend celebrating!!! We love you two!!! We are looking forward to next year!
